Halal option on pizzas and pasta
Halal Options in Benalmádena
At Campisi's Benalmádena, our pizzas and pasta have a halal option, made with halal-labelled meat from our supplier. Campisi's holds no halal certification of its own and the restaurant is not fully halal: the main menu includes pork. The stone oven is shared.
Below we explain how the halal option works and which dishes on the menu contain no meat, and we answer the most common questions.
Pizzas with a halal option
The halal option applies to pizzas that contain meat: we replace the meat in the usual recipe with halal-labelled meat from our supplier. All pizzas, with or without the halal option, are baked in the same stone oven.
Pizzas whose halal option our kitchen has confirmed carry the ‘Halal option’ label on the menu, with a note on the meat used. If you have questions about a particular pizza, please ask our staff before you order.
Pasta with a halal option
For pasta dishes with meat, the halal option works the same way: the meat in the recipe is replaced with halal-labelled meat from our supplier. Pasta dishes whose halal option our kitchen has confirmed carry the ‘Halal option’ label on the menu. For any questions about a dish, please ask our staff before you order.
Meat-free pizzas and pasta
These dishes on our menu contain no meat: the Margherita, 4 Formaggi, Napoli (with anchovies), Bufala, Vegetal and Marinera pizzas, and the Ravioli caseros (with burrata and prawns) and Spaghetti ai frutti di mare (with seafood) pasta dishes.
They carry no halal label: some contain cheese, which we have not verified as halal, and pizzas are baked in the shared stone oven. Meat-free does not mean vegetarian either: several of these dishes contain fish or seafood.
